Top 10 Things That You've Gotta Admit to Doing at Some Point

1. Peeking through the crack in your fridge door to see when, exactly, the light turns off.

2. Drawing a bright yellow quarter circle in the corner of a page for a "sun" then drawing little yellow lines, "rays" extending out from it. Van Gogh over here, everyone.

3. Driving on a highway and pretended that your car and all the other cars are "racing". The cars that are in front of you are actually in the back of a different race, of course.

4. Pacing all over the house during a phone call and make weird "oof" and "ow" noises when you fall off of something or crash into something.

5. Sounding out Wednesday like Wed-nes-day in your head when writing it. Yeah, I just did that.

6. Feeling weird saying your own name aloud. I so do this.

7. Checking behind the shower curtain before going to the bathroom at night or early in the morning.

8. Wiping your phone screen to make a pattern with all the smudge marks, or to make them all go in the same direction.

9. Feeling bad for the "lonely" inanimate objects (chairs, tables, pillow) when they get throw away. Admit it. You've "saved" them once or twice, only to throw them away the next week.

10. Walking somewhere where there's music playing, and pretend that you're in a movie.

Hope you realized that your not alone in your weird habits (well, actually... when you put ketchup on your everything bagel? You're so alone)! Have a great rest of your day, and... follow this bAlog, shop more, and laugh often!

Lucky (for less)

So, for those of you who read the Lucky magazine like it's the bible (busted!), admit it. You fell in love with their holiday cover for the December- January issue. I don't know what it was, but for me, this is the best cover I've seen so far! It's all neon peach, Ferrari red, metallic silver, and black. The cover model? America's sweetheart, Taylor. Yes, as in Swift. She stole the spotlight with her article, especially when it came to the pictures of her rocking her glam (with a definite vintage-y rock edge) new look.

So, for those of you (a.k.a everyone!) who're dying for her cover look, Google no further. I've pulled a look that, in total, is less than just one of the $150 rings that she sports in the spread.
So let's start shopping.

Okay, this LBD is perfection! If I went to a desert island, this cutie would be the first thing on my (very long) list. The skater silhouette's nipped waist and flirty, flared skirt makes this a fashion DO for everyone, no matter your body type. The thin-but-still-thick straps slim down shoulder, and a scoop neckline makes your neck look about 10 miles long. Like any LBD it's the perfect piece for the girl on the go, and can be gala dressy or slumber party cute. And it's on sale (TODAY ONLY) for only $27.93 which is cray! Get it now from Express! (express.com/lbd/skater-dress)

Okay. Truth time. Style secret #1: A leather jacket is a must to being chic. You can throw on your "ugly-day" jeans from last year, a ratty (but totally comfy) plain tee, and a boring ponytail, and still look like you have the most coveted personal shopper/stylist to the stars. And trust, me that is a miracle and a total life-saver. And motos bring the perfection to a whole new level. They bring that tough-my-boyfriend-rides-a-Harley girl edge to a sleek look, which, even if you're so totally not that girl, makes you looks like you have a thousand bucks in your wallet and a trust fund in your name. Yes, white is a hard color to pull off, and I don't do white, but I did fall in love with this quilted sweetheart. Plus, it's 100% faux, which means 100% kisses to animals. And (but I don't really need to go on, do I? You're already head-over-heels, admit it) it's a total score at $39.99, minus 10% if you sign up at Charlotte Russe. To buy this beauty, tap/click here.

Next steal: A totally gorgeous necklace... for... (drumroll, please!) $6.80! Major steal mojo. This necklace is a tad fancier than some, and it might be a bit larger than you would wear on a daily basis, but for the more formal events, a little glitter goes a long way for a look. It's a really reasonably priced piece, with a pretty chain as well as a glittery focal point (glitter is the best. You've gotta agree with me on that one). Besides, I'm a sucker for an edgy yet sophisticated chain link necklace. It's a simple, sleek, and modern piece, available from Forever 21 at: forever21.com/chain-link

Rings:

I absolutely love the new trend of multi-finger rings (even if your finger is rendered basically immobile). They look expensive and chic, even if they were only $3.90, like this one from Forever 21. The pearl on the end makes it even more glamorous, and it's a piece that can easily elevate an outfit. If you're in love with the piece (and the price), check it out at: forever21.com/glamorous-pearl-multi

This intricate, high-polish, knuckle ring is twisted and twirled to perfection. I mean, c'mon. Who said your fingers can't be complex too? It's a bigger piece, and it's definitely a look, but it's worth the risk, especially paired with the delicate pearl ring shown previously. It's available for  $4.80. To purchase, click right here.

Okay. I am just as much in love with this cuff bracelet as I am with the skater dress. It's once again gold, sleek, and modern, easily my favorite piece of the jewelry (not that I don't love the rest, but this little one's a sparkler for sure). Plus, cut-outs are super IN this season, and this is a great way to your flair without showing skin. Besides, what's not to love about a drop-dead cuff for only $7.90 from forever21.com/cutout-cuff

These two gold and brass chunky flat rings are the final addition to the (gorgeous) jewelry for this look, and are great ones. They're totally stackable, and the two metal tones play well together. The set adds even more edge to an otherwise sophisticated look, and are playful, but still hard and sharp. Get them for $3.80 from Forever 21 (the best destination for cool and flirty rings), available online here.

Last. but definitely not least, is the piece that really makes Taylor's look for this cover. It was her own flat fedora that she brought to the photo shoot and perched on her blonde head, and it tied the entire look together. A hat adds a menswear touch without too in your face like the suit jackets and polished loafers that have influenced past seasons and trends (for most people, the in your face is too much for daily life, which is why a hat= perfection). This one is felted 100% wool, and comes in brown and black for $16.80, which may seem a little pricey, but is a good buy for a sleek staple piece that you'll wear again and again. Get it here.

So, that's all I've got for y'all now, but check back soon for more trends, lists, and ways to wear on fashuccino.blogspot.com, your destination for style inspirations, all things chic, and life in general. Hope you're feeling pretty Lucky after this post! Thanks for stopping by!

Fashion, Frappuccinos, + Life

Welcome to Fashion, Frappuccinos, + Life! As you probably realize from the blog name, this is a (or is going to be) a mainly fashion blog, which pretty much means that I'm going to be writing about all things fashion! Outfits inspired by celebs, great finds at even greater prices, how to wear the latest trends, runway fashion, and pretty much anything you've ever wanted to know about everything fashion in general. Well, mostly. Because as much as the typical fashionista loves the gowns and heels and glamour, we all need a touch of reality. So that's why sometime I'm just going to post about plain old, down-to-earth, FYI, BTW, LIFE.
And I D-O-N-T don't claim to be an expert. I don't go to Paris (or New York. Or anywhere else) Fashion Week, I don't whip up perfect outfits in minutes, and I use spell-check just as much as anyone (and probably more). It plain old bugs me when people claim to be experts. Are you Marc Jacobs? Coco Chanel? Diane Von Fürstenburg? No? Then admit to your mistakes. Everyone has flaws and habits and makes mistakes, even bloggers. Take me. I have an innate love of parentheses (see?), and slump too much. I give my iTunes playlists weird, motivational names, and I enjoy pink baths. I believe in true love, leather jackets, vanilla hand lotion, the healing power of screaming, running in the cold with friends, pink cheeks, laughing, spending too much money on music, and in the need of model-walking in glittery stilettos at Nordstroms (trust me, you'll get stares).
So get ready, because this is going to be a wild ride. No commitment to follow my blog, but if you do, thank you so much! I realize that this isn't perfect, but neither are humans, right? I'll learn as we go along, so c'mon, be imperfect with me, because Fashion, Frappuccinos, + Life? It's going to big. So, yeah. I'm kind of putting my heart out there, but please don't stomp on it?
Merry Christmas and enjoy your day!
  Fashuccinos forever, xoxo,
